- 2 oz Gin (or if you have the ingredients use 1/2 oz Gin and 1.5 oz Laird’s Apple Jack)
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz cinnamon syrup
- Black Strap Rum Float
- Garnish: Rosemary Sprig
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, except for the black rum. Add ice and shake to chill the cocktail. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Using a spoon, position it over the cocktail. Pour a little black rum over the back of the spoon into the cocktail so it floats on top of the drink. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
If you want to batch this cocktail, or turn it into a punch bowl then take the ratios of the individual ingredients (not including the black rum since you’ll be floating this at the end), and multiply it by the number of people you want to serve. This makes it easy to serve as a punch and people can individually float black rum.
