From the sweetener to the spirits, this cocktail is inspired from all things agave. Thanks to the reposado tequila, it goes down super smooth, but I just had to throw in some mezcal to add a little smokey punch. Enjoy!
- 1.5 oz reposado tequila
- .5 oz mezcal
- 1/2 oz agave nectar
- 8-10 blueberries
- Juice from half of a lemon
- Garnish: 3-4 blueberries
- In a double rocks glass, combine blueberries, agave nectar, and lemon juice. Muddle the blueberries to release the juice.
- Pour in the tequila and mezcal, and fill half full with crushed ice. Stir to combine ingredients and chill.
- Fill the rest of the glass with more crushed ice (overflow is even better). Top the ice with blueberries for garnish.
